Steve Fleck
Steve Fleck has lived in Aurora for over 20 years. He's raised a family here and been involved in the community at a number of levels. Volunteering for the Aurora Youth Soccer Club as a Coach for a number of years and more recently for the Aurora Arboretum.
Professionally he is one of the leading Endurance Sports Race/Event Announcers and Live Stream Commentators in running, track & field, cycling and triathlon in North America. He's the voice of over 30 races/events across Canada and the U.S. each year. As such, it goes without saying that he is well spoken, speaking with passion, authority and integrity! He will be a great voice for the people of Ward 5 on Aurora Town Council.
During the Pandemic with the whole of the Live Events Business completely shut down (not just in Canada - but all across the world) and thrown into crisis, Steve was a founding Board Member for the Canadian Endurance Sports Alliance - who with others in the Live Events Business actively lobbied and advocated for the whole of the Live Events Business at Federal Government and Ontario Government levels.
Steve is proud to call Aurora "Home" and believes this is a community and town with tremendous potential.
Steve lives in the heart of Ward 5, Aurora, with his wife, former Professional Triathlete and Cyclist and Aurora Sports Hall of Fame Member, Paolina Allan!
